About Canver
Art as a universal language can transcend geographical and political boundaries. Canver creates a platform to converse in the visual language of art.
Canver showcases top artists from all over the world. Fans can show off their favorite artists and taste through building virtual collections and sharing them with friends. We'll feature best ones on the front page for many others to see, so anyone can make a difference. Talented artists from under-represented locations can rise from obscurity and gain recognition they deserve.
Canver connects artists directly with their fans, no matter where they live and what language they speak. Artists can also sell digital images of their works directly through Canver, for marketing and as an extra source of income. And fans will be able to put their favorite art on any surface they like, from a snowboard to a TV screen or a bedroom wall, with no right of commercial use but with total freedom or self-expression.
Canver will be rolled out very soon, after we collect enough votes and enough artist nominations through Vote Art! campaign. Nominate and vote now to make a difference!
About Vote Art
Who are the most appreciated artists in local communities worldwide? No gallery, art dealer or critic can truly answer this question. Vote Art puts the decision power with local communities, with artists themselves and the people.
Accepted art categories include paintings, drawings, illustrations, photography and mixed media and any other category that can be sufficiently represented through digital images. After the initial nomination campaign, we'll invite top artists with the most votes in each country to be invited to be featured on Canver, an international home for 2D art, a democratic platform that is free for artists as well as the people.

For Artists
Dear Artist,
We are building Canver for you. Our goal is to empower massive social discovery of art and to provide you with direct access to your fans worldwide. We know it’s hard to get your work out there, and we are here to help.
Why are we building Canver?
Because we love art and because we know how to leverage social media and technology to induce a long overdue change in the art market.
How will it work?
Art discovery and presentation: visually beautiful, highly social and available on all devices.
Direct access to fans: you collect fans, and communicate with them directly.
Business model: option to sell high-resolution digital images of your selected pieces directly through Canver, boosting value of your original collections and maximizing your impact on the world.
What are the benefits from being featured on Canver?
· Get discovered outside of galleries
· Put your works in front of millions of people outside of your local community
· Get stats to understand who your fans are, where they come from and what they like
· Engage your fan base to promote your art
· Sell digital images of your art on a regular basis
· Use your popularity to increase value of your art
When does the site become active?
Canver site will be launched within weeks, once we accumulate enough votes and enough artist nominations through Vote Art! campaign.
For the Vote Art campaign, we let users upload only low-resolution images publicly available on the Internet, and we only accept artist nominations that include links to artist website and contact information. With each vote you gain one fan / follower on Canver; we’ll make the stats available to you at launch. HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO ACCUMULATE FANS AND WISH US TO REMOVE YOUR PROFILE FROM CANVER WE WOULD DO SO IMMEDIATELY - just email admin@canver.com with “Remove” in email subject and your full name in the body of the email.
If you have any feedback or questions about Canver, feel free to contact me directly at anya@canver.com
Sincerely,
Anya Shapina
